RedHat Linux Training With Techno-Ed

Currently in Pakistan there are two Red Hat Linux Certifications that are best recognized, the Red Hat Certified Technician (RHCT) and Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE). The RHCT and RHCE certifications have an almost identical cirriculum in that RHCT requires two modules of study prior to giving the certification examination namely RH 033 and RH 133. RHCE on the other hand requires those two modules and an additional one as well, namely RH 033, RH 133 and RH 253.

The details of these courses and their overviews are given below. However, it is important to understand what your day to day requirement of Linux is prior to choosing whether to go for an RHCT or RHCE certification.

Generally, the RHCT track was designed for systems administrators and individuals that require a more than mere beginner understanding of Linux. RHCE certification holders on the other hand achieve that level of knowledge and also are capable of working with advanced features and functionality in Red Hat Linux making them ideal for troubleshooting and highly technical roles within organizations.

The most technically advanced certification available in the country is the Red Hat Certified Security Specialist (RHCSS).

The certification requires an RHCE to take an additional three modules namely RH 333, RH 423 and RH 429. More information about the RHCE, RHCT and RHCSS is available on its own page via the navigation menu under:
